Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a repipe take?

A typical whole-house repipe takes 2–4 days. The crew maps new pipe routes, cuts access points in walls, runs the new lines, connects to all fixtures. We do a full pressure test before completing the job.

Should I repipe with PEX or copper?

PEX is the modern standard for residential repiping — it's more affordable, flexible, resistant to freezing, and faster to install. Copper costs more but some homeowners prefer it for its longevity and the fact that it doesn't require fittings at every turn. For most Central Texas homes, PEX offers the best value.

How do I know if my house needs repiping?

Signs include frequent pinhole leaks, rust-colored water, consistently low water pressure at multiple fixtures, visible corrosion on exposed pipes, or if your home has polybutylene (poly-B) pipes installed between 1978–1995. If you're repairing leaks every few months, repiping once is cheaper than ongoing fixes.
